Returns Policy

Electronic and/or Diagnostic Tools:
New tools may be returned for store credit within one week of receipt provided
they are sent back in resaleable condition and with all of the original packaging.
Credit on account for future purchases will be issued if the tool meets the above
stated criteria. This excludes SPX/OTC Diagnostic Products & Service
Equipment, and the Launch X-431 Scan Tool.

Policy for SPX/OTC Diagnostic Products & Service Equipment, and
Launch X-431 Scan Tool:

No refunds or returns on OTC Electronic/Diagnostic Tools & Service
Equipment, and Launch X-431 Scan Tools. If you have technical difficulties with
an SPX/OTC product, please contact Tech Support at 1-800-533-6127.

We of course relialize that in some cases defective merchandise can be received.
In the event you receive a tool that was damaged in shipment or is a straight out
of the box defective we may at our discretion exchange it provided you contact
us immediately after receipt. If we cannot be reached due to receipt of the order
after our hours of operation, please send an e-mail to
customerservice@cartools.com

Specialty Tools and Hand Tools:
If the wrong tool was ordered, you may return it for exchange within one week
of receipt or if you are returning any product for credit after purchase you will
be charged a 15% restocking fee. All products must be returned to:

If we shipped the tool in error we will issue a UPS call tag so that you are not
inconvenienced and will send the correct item at our expense.

All returns must must be authorized in advance by Cartools.com Customer
Service. We will issue credit minus the 15% restock fee, or exchage of the item
at our discretion. Please contact us at 1-888-300-1006 before making any returns.

If you have an issue concerning warranty, please contact us for the specific
manufacturer's warranty procedure and policies.
